Infectious Diseases Physician
Mayo Clinic Arizona is seeking a General Infectious Diseases physician to join our expanding academic division, with a preferred focus on HPV-related disease and anal cancer prevention.
This unique opportunity aligns with Mayo Clinic Arizona’s new ecampus-wide initiative to implement high-resolution anoscopy (HRA) screening and surveillance programs for all populations at risk for HPV-associated anal cancer. Candidates with experience, or a strong interest in developing expertise, in HRA are highly encouraged to apply.
This is a clinically focused academic position with robust opportunities for translational research and innovation. Faculty will benefit from access to Mayo Clinic’s integrated data infrastructure, advanced analytics platforms, and curated biobank resources, supporting cutting-edge investigation into HPV-related infections, cancer prevention, and population health strategies.
You will join a highly collaborative Infectious Diseases division and play an active role in a nationally recognized fellowship program, contributing to education, mentorship, and scholarly activity. The position includes a faculty appointment with the Mayo Clinic Alix College of Medicine.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive Infectious Diseases care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Participate in and help expand an institutional HRA screening and treatment program
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncology, colorectal surgery, and Internal medicine.
Encourage to engage in translational research related to HPV, anal dysplasia, and cancer prevention
Contribute to teaching and mentorship within the fellowship and medical education programs
