Influencer Marketing & Content Specialist (AO-13687)

NewBe an early applicant

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced, highly capable Marketing Officer to support and execute across digital marketing, creator partnerships, content acquisition, ecommerce, and retail marketing activity.

A major focus of the role will be owning the creator and influencer program end-to-end — planning the content required for upcoming collections, identifying suitable creators, managing outreach and negotiations, coordinating product and briefs, ensuring content is delivered on time, and working closely with a digital agency to maintain a consistent pipeline of strong-performing creative.

This is not a junior marketing or social media assistant role.

We are looking for someone mature, commercially minded, highly organised, and able to work with a high degree of autonomy. The successful candidate will be confident dealing directly with creators, agencies, retail partners, and customers, and capable of progressing work without every task needing to be broken down for them.

The successful candidate should also be highly digitally savvy, understand what makes content perform across paid and organic channels, have strong Photoshop and video editing skills, and stay closely connected to current digital trends, emerging content formats, and what is gaining traction across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Creator & Influencer Program

The Marketing Officer will take primary responsibility for running the creator and influencer program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Proactively identify influencers, UGC creators, and content creators who align with the customer, aesthetic, and brand positioning.

  • Research creators across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.

  • Assess creators based on content quality, audience alignment, engagement, aesthetic, professionalism, and commercial potential.

  • Build and maintain an ongoing pipeline of creators for future campaigns and collection launches.

  • Conduct direct outreach to creators and their management.

  • Build professional and positive relationships with creators.

  • Understand how individual creators prefer to work with brands.

  • Negotiate fees, deliverables, gifting arrangements, and commercial terms within agreed budgets.

  • Negotiate appropriate content usage rights for organic and paid advertising.

  • Clearly agree deliverables, timelines, and expectations before product is dispatched.

  • Maintain records of creator agreements, costs, deliverables, and usage rights.

  • Coordinate product selection and dispatch to creators.

  • Follow up with creators and ensure agreed content is delivered on time.

  • Manage outstanding or late deliverables proactively.

  • Review delivered content and coordinate revisions where required.

  • Ensure final content files are received in the appropriate format and quality.

  • Maintain organised records and folders of all creator content.

The successful candidate should be comfortable negotiating and making commercial judgements around which creator partnerships represent good value for the business.

Content Acquisition & Planning

This role is responsible for ensuring the business has a consistent pipeline of high-quality content rather than sourcing content reactively when it is urgently needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work from the collection and launch calendar to plan future content requirements.

  • Look ahead across upcoming collections and determine what creator content will be required.

  • Plan creator activity sufficiently in advance so content is available before launch and advertising deadlines.

  • Determine the appropriate mix of content required across:

    • Paid digital advertising

    • Instagram Reels

    • Stories

    • TikTok

    • Organic social

    • Ecommerce

    • Email

    • Launch campaigns

    • Retail partner marketing

  • Identify content gaps before they become urgent.

  • Maintain a rolling creator and content production calendar.

  • Ensure multiple creators are moving through the pipeline at any one time.

  • Coordinate content production across multiple upcoming collections simultaneously.

  • Work within agreed monthly and campaign budgets.

  • Ensure the business has sufficient variety across creators, formats, products, and creative concepts.

The objective is to create a reliable and scalable content acquisition system that continually feeds paid and organic marketing channels.

Digital Agency Liaison

The business works closely with an external digital performance agency, and this role will be responsible for managing the creative side of that relationship internally.

Responsibilities include:

  • Liaise regularly with the digital agency to understand what creative is currently performing.

  • Understand which ads or creative formats are beginning to fatigue.

  • Identify what types of content, hooks, formats, or products the agency needs next.

  • Use performance feedback to influence future creator briefs and content planning.

  • Identify gaps in the existing creative mix.

  • Ensure the digital agency has a consistent supply of fresh content available for testing.

  • Coordinate delivery of new creator assets to the agency.

  • Track what creative has been supplied, what is currently being tested, and what still needs to be produced.

  • Respond quickly to agency creative requests.

  • Help turn successful creative concepts into additional variations.

  • Maintain an ongoing feedback loop between advertising performance and future content production.

The role requires an understanding that the objective is not simply to produce attractive content. Content needs to help drive customer acquisition, engagement, and sales.

Paid Social & Ad Creative

While running the creator and content acquisition program is the primary focus, the Marketing Officer will also assist with creating and adapting digital advertising assets.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Edit creator footage into Meta and paid social ads.

  • Create different versions of existing creative for testing.

  • Develop alternative hooks, opening frames, text overlays, calls to action, and edits.

  • Repurpose successful creator content into additional advertising formats.

  • Work with existing campaign footage, creator content, and UGC to create new ad assets.

  • Assist the digital agency with creative variations where required.

  • Understand the fundamentals of what makes a strong-performing digital ad.

  • Learn from performance data and apply those insights to future creative.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify creators who are aligned with a brand’s target customer, aesthetic, positioning, and commercial objectives.

  • Experience negotiating creator fees, deliverables, usage rights, and commercial terms within agreed budgets.

  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to assess whether creator partnerships offer genuine value and potential return on investment.

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple creators, campaigns, deadlines, and content requirements simultaneously.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating directly with creators, agencies, suppliers, retail partners, and customers.
