Influencer & PR Manager (m/f/d) — Munich, hybrid
Posted Updated
Do you know which creator makes a brand feel credible - and which editor picks up the story? Then this role is for you.
As our Influencer & PR Manager, you'll own the two channels that shape how ALEMI is talked about: our creator partnerships and our press presence. You'll build a creator program that goes beyond one-off collaborations, and you'll open doors for us in the DACH media landscape. A role at the intersection of relationships, storytelling, and brand building - with a lot of room to shape it yourself. One thing upfront, because it shapes the whole job: we don't do discounts. More on that below.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Influencer & Creator Marketing (your main focus)
What that means for your work: you can't buy a partnership with a code. You'll work with other currencies instead - fair flat fees and buyouts, affiliate commission on full-price sales, gifting and product, early access, personalisation, press and creator events, and a brand story that's genuinely worth telling. If that sounds like a limitation, this role will frustrate you. If it sounds like the more interesting version of the job, we should talk.

A role at the intersection of relationships, storytelling, and brand building - with a lot of room to shape it yourself. One thing upfront, because it shapes the whole job: we don't do discounts. More on that below.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Influencer & Creator Marketing (your main focus)
- Identify creators who genuinely fit ALEMI's values, aesthetic, and audience - and own outreach, briefings, and day-to-day communication.
- Negotiate partnerships and buyouts, coordinate content delivery, approvals, and timelines.
- Evaluate content for both quality and performance, and manage its strategic usage across our channels.
- Build and maintain a structured Creator CRM with clear performance tracking - so we know which relationships actually pay off.
- Develop our community-led programs: gifting and seeding, testimonials, ambassador and affiliate structures.
- Report on results with clear KPIs and concrete optimisation ideas, in close exchange with our Performance Marketing Lead.
- Build and maintain our press network in the DACH region — with a focus on fashion, business, and lifestyle media
- Pitch stories that are worth telling: brand and founder stories, product launches, our Italian manufacturing, our stance on equality.
- Write and place press releases, prepare interviews, and handle incoming press requests.
- Put together and send press packages and seedings, and keep track of what goes where.
- Track coverage and share what resonated, where, and why.
- Plan and host press and creator events - from small editor breakfasts to launch evenings.
- Represent ALEMI at industry events, press appointments, and creator meetings.
- Coordinate the practical side: product handovers, loans and returns, samples for shoots.
- Bring the local perspective back into the team: what's happening in the market, who we should know.
- 2+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator management, or PR — agency or brand side.
- You're based in Munich (or moving here) and you enjoy being on the ground when events and appointments come up.
- Strong relationship skills: you communicate clearly and professionally across DMs, briefings, calls, and emails — and people enjoy working with you.
- A feeling for stories that get picked up — and the discipline to follow up.
- The ability to win creators and editors over with story, product, and fair terms — not with a discount code (please read "Good to know" below).
- Structured and reliable in the background work: briefings, contracts, timelines, tracking. You keep an overview without being reminded.
- A sharp eye for visual storytelling and brand aesthetics - even if you're not creating content yourself.
- Comfortable working with data: you read performance numbers and draw conclusions from them (Google Sheets, platform analytics).
- Fluent in German and English — our creator and press communication happens in both languages.
- Nice to have: an existing network of editors and creators in the DACH market, experience with affiliate or ambassador programmes, or experience with events.
- A permanent full-time position in a purpose-driven, bootstrapped company with a long-term vision.
- Hybrid, and actually flexible: we're a remote-first team with no core hours. Work from home, from our Munich store, or wherever you're most productive — that's your call. What we do need is someone living in Munich: press and creator send-outs go out from our store at Odeonsplatz, and many of the people you'll be working with are right there. It's the city that matters to us, not a desk.
- Real ownership: you build this channel — including budget responsibility, your own tooling decisions, and direct access to our founders.
- 30 vacation days + options for sabbaticals and additional days off for personal occasions.
- A personal development budget for trainings, coaching, or conferences — plus internal knowledge sharing and regular feedback sessions.
- A team culture shaped by female leadership, ownership mentality, and the spirit of "ask for forgiveness, not permission."
- Regular virtual and in-person team events to build connection and community.
- Your own ALEMI bag as your onboarding gift.
Good to know before you apply
We don't do discounts. No sale periods, no discount codes, no "20% for your community" — not even for creators with large reach. Our prices reflect what the bags actually cost to make in a small Italian family-run manufactory, and we hold them. In our experience this is the single point most collaborations fail on, so we'd rather say it here than in your third call with us.What that means for your work: you can't buy a partnership with a code. You'll work with other currencies instead - fair flat fees and buyouts, affiliate commission on full-price sales, gifting and product, early access, personalisation, press and creator events, and a brand story that's genuinely worth telling.
