Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infor XA / Infor ION Data Integration Developer to design, develop, configure, test, and support integrations between Infor XA / MAPICS and internal or external enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Infor XA, Infor ION, ION Desk, ION Connect, XA IDF System-Link, BOD/XML messaging, API integrations, and production troubleshooting. This role focuses on enterprise data integration, transformation, message routing, monitoring, and end-to-end integration support rather than general application development.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support inbound and outbound integrations between Infor XA / MAPICS and WMS, supplier portals, finance systems, ERP/CRM platforms, and third-party applications.

Configure and maintain Infor ION connection points, document/data flows, logical IDs, Authorized Apps, service accounts, and integration configurations.

Configure and support XA IDF System-Link destinations, replication settings, publish jobs, BOD generation, and XA inbox/outbox processing.

Develop and maintain data mappings and transformations using BOD/XML, XSLT, JSON, CSV/flat files, SQL/JDBC, REST APIs, and SOAP services.

Support manufacturing and supply-chain integrations involving Item/Material Master, Vendors, BOMs, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Supplier Invoices, Inventory, Warehouse, and Supplier Exchange.

Troubleshoot integration failures using ION Desk, OneView, Error BODs, XA Transaction Status, System-Link logs, API Gateway logs, and related monitoring tools.

Implement integration validation, logging, retry mechanisms, error handling, monitoring, and deployment processes across Development, Testing, and Production environments.

Collaborate with functional analysts, ERP teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable integration solutions.

Support integration testing, release management, technical documentation, and ongoing production support.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of relevant IT, ERP integration, middleware, or enterprise application integration experience.

Hands-on experience with Infor XA / MAPICS integration development or support is mandatory.

Strong experience with Infor ION, ION Desk, and ION Connect, including connection points, document flows, BODs, and production troubleshooting.

Practical experience with XA IDF System-Link, including destinations, replication settings, publish jobs, and inbox/outbox processing.

Strong understanding of BOD-based integration, XML payloads, OAGIS concepts, BOD verbs such as Sync, Process, Acknowledge, Get, and Show, and event-driven data publishing.

Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, CSV/flat files, SQL, JDBC, authentication, and data transformation.

Ability to troubleshoot integration issues across application, middleware, database, network, authentication, and payload layers.

Familiarity with IBM i / AS400 / IBM Power Systems environments supporting Infor XA.

Experience with integration testing, deployment, technical documentation, and production support.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Boomi AtomSphere, including process development, connectors, mapping, API management, and runtime support.

Knowledge of Boomi API Gateway for API exposure, authentication, deployment, and traffic management.

Experience with IBM MQ, JMS, queues, channels, listeners, topics/subscriptions, certificate management, and message troubleshooting.

Experience with EDI X12, AS2, SFTP/FTP, trading partner integrations, WMS, logistics, supplier exchange, or manufacturing supply-chain systems.

Programming or scripting experience in RPGLE, CL, RPGXML, Java, Groovy, JavaScript, Python, C#, or SQL/PL SQL.

Familiarity with DB2 for i and IBM Power Systems.

Relevant certifications or training in Boomi, Infor ION, IBM MQ, or integration technologies.
