Informatica Data Engineer-Data Integration

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Data Engineer to join our data engineering team in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade ETL solutions using Informatica while ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, analysts, and application teams to deliver scalable data integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Build and optimize data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various enterprise systems.
• Develop mappings, workflows, sessions, reusable transformations, and parameter files.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure high-quality data.
• Optimize ETL jobs and SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Work with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
• Collaborate with business users, data analysts, and solution architects to gather and translate business requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Support production deployments, system enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, data mapping specifications, and ETL design documents.
• Follow SDLC, Agile methodologies, and data governance standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL Development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica IICS.
• Strong SQL development skills and experience with relational databases.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data integration, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts.
• Experience using Git or other version control tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Telecommunications, or BPO industries.
• Informatica certification is an advantage.
