Informatica Developer

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Developer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data integration and ETL solutions. The candidate should have strong expertise in Informatica, SQL, data warehousing, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica.
  
• Develop mappings, mapplets, workflows, sessions, and reusable transformations.
  
• Work with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/IICS).
  
• Gather technical requirements and translate business requirements into scalable data integration solutions.
  
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
  
• Integrate data from multiple sources including relational databases, flat files, APIs, and cloud platforms.
  
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
  
• Troubleshoot ETL failures and production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
  
• Optimize mappings and workflows for improved performance and scalability.
  
• Implement error handling, logging, restartability, and data quality checks.
  
• Participate in deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments.
  
• Work closely with data architects, business analysts, QA teams, and other technical teams.
  
• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge-transfer activities.
  

Mandatory Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Informatica Development.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
  
• Experience with Informatica IICS/IDMC is highly preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and Data Warehousing.
  
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
  
• Good understanding of Dimensional Modeling, Star/Snowflake Schema, Facts and Dimensions.
  
• Experience in performance tuning of Informatica mappings and workflows.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
  
• Good understanding of SDLC and deployment processes.
  

Good to Have

• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP data platforms.
  
• Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure Data Lake.
  
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
  
• Knowledge of REST APIs and web-service integrations.
  
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or similar.
  
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
