Technical Support Specialist – Informatica IDMC, MDM & Data Catalog

Location: Toronto, ON

Hybrid: 3 days in office

Skills: Master Data Management_Informatica (MDM)

Experience Required: 6-8 Years

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience with Informatica platforms, including IDMC.

• Strong understanding of platform architecture, agent deployment, and VM management.

• Experience with cloud environments (Azure) and hybrid deployments.

• Familiarity with platform monitoring tools and techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Data Discovery & Cataloging: Experience with automated data scanning and cataloging tools (e.g., Informatica Data Catalog).

• Metadata Management: Ability to manage metadata across diverse environments.

• Data Lineage: Understanding of lineage visualization and impact analysis.

• Business Glossary: Exposure to glossary creation and stewardship workflows.

• Sensitive Data Discovery: Awareness of data privacy, classification, and compliance techniques.

• Policy Management: Basic knowledge of data access and usage policy frameworks.
