We are working with a major oil & gas operator to source an information management specialist (compliance). This is a long-term contract role. Please see details below.
Details
Start date: ASAP (typically within 1 month notice)
Location: Onshore (Doha HQ/Qatar site)
Working schedule: 6 days per week / 8-10 hours per day or as per project requirement
Experience required
Key job accountabilities
- Check the correctness and completeness of information management activities within integration department in alignment with QLMS expectations and client requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain document control organization and team functions; document management strategies, procedures and work instructions; correspondence control; technical and non-technical documentation management; document registers and identifying integrity critical documentation.
- Provide oversight of information management processes, procedures and systems to ensure gap identification and closure.
- Evaluate client information management process, systems and procedures to understand impacts and assess compliance against contractor contractual requirements.
- Assist in maintaining correspondence registers. Distribute any other project documents in accordance with company’s requirements and supervise maintaining the electronic filing system.
- Ensure the implementation of the project’s information policies and procedures (including classification, records retention, document reviews, audits etc.).
- Establish, implement and steward project information management policies, processes, procedures, systems and controls.
- Assist in compiling periodic management reports. Report to management on documentation status and progress.
- Provide support to the integration team in all matters relating to technical documentation and correspondence.
Minimum requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in applied science, engineering, automotive technology, English, computer or business discipline.
Knowledge and key skills
- 8 years’ experience in information management.
- Knowledge and experience with information management computing and hardcopy systems, management processes and control procedures.
- Knowledge in SharePoint management, web design and dashboard development using Power BI, etc.
