Salary: $155k inc super

Information Security Analyst - 12 month FTC + Extensions - $155k inc Super - Hybrid work arrangement

An established Australian superannuation organisation is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join its Information Security team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Information Security professional with around 3+ years’ experience who wants to broaden their capability across security operations, risk and compliance within a regulated environment.

You’ll join an established team and take ownership of well-defined security processes, while working closely with internal Technology and Risk teams and external security service providers.

The opportunity:

• Conducting third-party/vendor security assessments
• Performing user access reviews and privileged access controls
• Supporting vulnerability management activities
• Working with security tooling including Microsoft Defender and Tenable/Nessus
• Supporting security control testing, risk management and incident processes
• Liaising with external security and technology service providers
• Supporting the management and documentation of information security risks and controls
• Working closely with Line 2 Risk and Compliance stakeholders
• Contributing to security reporting, policies, standards and processes

You’ll bring:

• Around 3+ years’ experience across Information Security, Cyber Security or Cyber GRC
• Experience with vendor/supplier security assessments, access reviews and vulnerability management
• Exposure to Microsoft Defender, Tenable/Nessus, Azure and/or IDERA/Zilla
• Strong understanding of security controls, risk and compliance
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience within superannuation or another highly regulated environment highly regarded
• Knowledge of APRA CPS 234 advantageous, but not essential
• Relevant Information Security qualifications or certifications desirable

This is not a pure SOC or Security Engineering role. It would suit an analyst who enjoys working across information security operations, controls, risk and compliance and is looking for an opportunity to continue developing their Information Security career.
