Information Security Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need strong experience in Information Security, Security Assurance, IT Audit or Cyber Risk within a regulated finance environment.
• We need a deep understanding of security control frameworks, risk management and governance.
• We need experience managing internal and external security audits, client due diligence and regulatory assessments.
• We need good knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response and security monitoring.
• We need the ability to assess technical controls, challenge evidence and drive remediation activities through to completion.
• We need excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, auditors and senior business leaders.

Responsibilities:

• We will own Information Security Assurance for our London office, working closely with colleagues in New York.
• We will lead technical security assurance activities across the business.
• We will manage internal and external audits, client due diligence, penetration test remediation and regulatory assessments.
• We will partner with Engineering, Infrastructure and Risk teams to evaluate security controls and identify opportunities for improvement.
• We will drive remediation actions through to completion.
• We will act as the technical authority for security assurance across identity and access management, vulnerability management, cloud security, endpoint protection, incident management, logging and monitoring.
• We will provide oversight to ensure our security controls remain effective, measurable and continuously improving.
• We will influence our security strategy and translate regulatory requirements into practical technical controls.
• We will provide reporting on security posture, risk and compliance to senior stakeholders.
