Position Summary:
We are looking for passionate and engaged Information Security Interns to join our team for the Summer of 2027! This internship provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with real-world security practices, tools, and techniques. Collaborate with seasoned professionals and make a real impact by contributing to strategic projects that are pivotal to our organization's success. Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to strategic security projects and tasks to gain practical experience in the security landscape
Partner closely with seasoned professionals on assigned projects
Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deadlines
Perform other security-related tasks as needed to support the team
Pro-active vs. Re-active mindset to engage in Information Security developmental workshops and intern-led activities
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documents such as spreadsheets that track, measure, and facilitate improvement of internal processes.
Review and assist in the implementation of security policy, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives that require analysis and keen desire to learn various Information Security tools.
Support on special projects and other tasks/duties as needed
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Interest and desire to learn about information security practices and technologies
Basic understanding of information security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, GRC platforms, etc.)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written & verbal communication skillsets
Ability to work well both independently as well as within a team oriented environment
Attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive information
Eagerness to learn and apply cybersecurity principles in a professional environment
Microsoft Operating System concepts and system administration knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work on-site at either our corporate headquarters in Conshohocken, PA or in Carrollton, TX
