Summary
Merchants Capital is hiring a Summer 2027 Information Security intern to work as an extension of its full-time security team, partnering with the information security officer to design and implement zero-trust controls such as conditional access, MFA, software risk management, data flow mapping, and user awareness, with mentorship and a final presentation to leadership.

As an Information Security Analyst Intern, you will…
- This role will function as an extension of our full-time information security team on a day-to-day basis. In this internship you will partner with the information security officer to design, implement, and refine controls related to zero trust initiatives.
- You will be working on projects including but not limited to Conditional User Access, Multifactor Authentication, Software Risk Management, Data Flow Mapping, and User Awareness.
- The goal is that you will take what you have learned in your course work, apply it to your projects and then implement those solutions or recommendations.
- Have both a manager and mentor to help guide your through our program and your day-to-day work.
- Be given the opportunity to deliver a final presentation of your project/s results and make business recommendations to your department, team members and Company leadership.
