Information Security Officer
Summary
Oversee and improve information security by analyzing gaps, documenting processes, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations using Microsoft Office and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct gap analysis of identified environments against documented policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Conduct root cause analysis on issues/deficiencies identified.
- Document current state processes where applicable, and document approved updated processes.
- Execute approved action plans to close gaps identified and/or monitor, follow up, and report on the execution of the approved action plans by identified resources to closure.
- The follow up with IT specialists and consultants on progress on deliverables.
- The follow up with vendors on troubleshooting of issues related to Information Security.
- The analysis of IT controls-related documentation.
- Matching between documentation and policies/regulations.
- The use of best practice standards.
- The provision of technical expertise on risks and the required controls associated with First Caribbean's information security systems, where applicable.
- Process reengineering and documentation.
- The use of Microsoft Office, to support the required documentation.
