Summary
Oversee international defense security policies, negotiate agreements, and conduct security assessments for government and defense contractors.
This position is located at the Defense Technology Security Administration (DTSA), International Engagement Directorate (IED). The Directorate is responsible for DTSA's international outreach and engagement and serves as the OSD staff element responsible to the OUSD (P) for all matters concerning the security aspects of all international bilateral and multilateral cooperative programs and for the formulation, implementation, and oversight of defense security policy.
Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Negotiate GSAs and ISAs between the DoW and foreign Ministries of Defense. Independently identifies and focuses senior policy leaders' attention on issues with major defense national security, National Disclosure Policy, or international security implications. Assists in organization and conduct of international conferences on security issues. Develops and recommends policies for the international aspects of the National Industrial Security Program. Recommends training courses, promulgates educational material for government departments and agencies and defense contractors on the security aspects of international programs and assists in the conduct of presentation. Leading Security Surveys/Security Assessment Visits
