Information System Security Officer (ISSO)
JOB TITLE: INFORMATION SYSTEM SECURITY OFFICER (ISSO)

POSITION OVERVIEW:
You are the hands-on compliance authority. You will translate system architectures into compliant NIST controls, input the artifacts into eMASS, and maintain the system's security posture post-deployment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive eMASS data entry and map NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 controls.
- Author the System Security Plan.
- Manage post-deployment Continuous Monitoring (CONMON) and vulnerability tracking.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
TECHNICAL SKILLS
DoD 8570 IAM Level II/III or equivalent DoD 8140.
- Mastery of eMASS.
EXPERIENCE
- 7+ Years DoD RMF Execution.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or IT.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience managing ACAS/Nessus vulnerability scans in Azure.
- DoD 8570 IAM Level II/III or equivalent DoD 8140.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standard Office Environment.
TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS
- Minimal (0-5%).
