About the Role
We are seeking an Information Systems (IS) professional to support the technology needs of our hotel cluster. This role is responsible for maintaining system integrity, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, and delivering timely technical support to all users, both on-site and remotely. You will play a key role in managing infrastructure, supporting daily operations, and implementing IT projects in line with Hyatt brand standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for on-site and remote users across the cluster.
- Administer, maintain, and optimise IS infrastructure, including servers, databases, network devices, and communication systems.
- Design, maintain, and support database structures, data integrity standards, and data management processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of information.
- Perform system monitoring, preventative maintenance, backups, disaster recovery testing, and recovery procedures to maintain business continuity.
- Support the implementation, testing, and deployment of new systems, software upgrades, and IT projects.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, server, network, and communication infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
- Enforce Information Systems policies, procedures, cybersecurity standards, and security controls to protect company systems and data.
- Manage system security, access controls, and disaster recovery planning to ensure operational resilience.
- Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers for installations, maintenance, support services, and security solutions, while monitoring service delivery and contractual obligations.
- Test system and database changes, upgrades, and enhancements, including identifying, documenting, and resolving technical issues.
- Develop, maintain, and administer Information Systems documentation, standards, procedures, user guides, and system records.
- Manage IS asset inventory, procurement processes, lifecycle tracking, and disposal of technology equipment.
- Prepare reports and support internal and external IS audits, ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor network performance, identify future infrastructure requirements, and provide recommendations for enhancements and capacity planning.
- Maintain accurate records of system configurations, incidents, resolutions, and operational activities.
- Salary Range\: AUD$78K to AUD$82K
