About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Information Tech Support professional to join our growing IT support team at Radtelcom Technologies Corporation in Cebu City, Cebu. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring our clients and internal systems operate smoothly and efficiently. As an Information Tech Support specialist, you will be the first line of defence in resolving technical issues, providing timely assistance, and delivering outstanding customer service. Your contribution will directly impact the productivity and satisfaction of our users, making this a strategically important role within our organisation.
Key responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, ticketing systems and in-person assistance
Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network-related issues in a timely and efficient manner
Document all support interactions, solutions and resolutions in the help desk system for future reference
Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, peripherals and software applications
Perform system updates, patches and security maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
Provide user training and guidance on IT systems, software applications and best practices
Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when necessary
Maintain IT asset inventory and monitor hardware and software compliance
Respond promptly to support requests and maintain professional communication with all users
Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support processes and documentation
What we're looking for
Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (diploma or degree preferred)
Proven experience in IT help desk or technical support role, ideally 1–3 years in a similar position
Strong technical knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems
Competency in troubleshooting hardware issues, including desktops, laptops and peripherals
Experience with ticketing and help desk management systems
Knowledge of basic networking concepts and familiarity with network troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically through technical challenges
Outstanding customer service orientation with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Patience, professionalism and a positive attitude when dealing with users at all technical levels
Willingness to learn new technologies and pursue professional development opportunities
Preferred: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Associate or equivalent IT certification
Preferred: Experience with cloud services, cybersecurity fundamentals or virtualisation technologies
