Information Technologist Specialist (INFOSEC)

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Security, Facilities and Logistics Operations (OSFLO). As an Information Technologist Specialist (INFOSEC), GS-2210-13, you will serve as an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) supporting CMS physical security systems, HSPD-12/FIPS 201 integration, IT automation, interoperability, and NIST-based security controls for federal identity and access management.

Serving on a team tasked with ensuring technical compliance with governing documents regarding administering and overseeing various policies and mandates associated with physical access control systems.

Collaborating with CMS OIT, HHS, and others as necessary to create and maintain physical access and information systems.

Serving as subject matter expert regarding incorporating DPSO IT infrastructure into shared Federal infrastructure.

Drafting security policies and procedures that are used by staff and contractors working at various CMS locations.
