Information Technology Analyst

At Park Hyatt St. Kitts, the IT Analyst is responsible for supporting the hotel's technology infrastructure and ensuring the effective operation of all information systems. This position assists departments in maximizing the use of hotel systems and technology solutions to improve efficiency, service delivery, and operational performance.

The IT Analyst provides technical support, troubleshooting, training, and system administration while maintaining the security and integrity of hotel technology resources. The role works closely with all departments to ensure seamless technology operations and a positive experience for both guests and colleagues.

Essential Functions

• Provide first-level and second-level technical support for hotel systems, applications, hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Assist hotel departments in utilizing property systems efficiently and effectively to support operational objectives.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technology-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Support hotel applications including Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), telecommunications, guest internet services, and business applications.
• Monitor system performance and escalate technical issues when necessary.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance, support, and implementation of technology solutions.
• Assist with system installations, upgrades, testing, and configuration of hardware and software.
• Maintain user accounts, access permissions, and security protocols in accordance with company policies.
• Conduct training and provide guidance to colleagues on technology systems and applications.
• Support data backup, recovery procedures, cybersecurity initiatives, and business continuity requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, licenses, support requests, and technical procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt technology standards, information security policies, and applicable regulations.
• Participate in technology projects and initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and procurement of IT equipment and supplies.

Additional Responsibilities

• When requested by management, provide IT services and technical support to other companies within the employer's economic group.
• Provide assistance to companies licensed by any company within the employer's economic group and to any other affiliated or related companies as directed.
• Support cross-functional and regional technology initiatives when required by the organization.
