Information Technology Consultant (Test Automation - Contract)
Summary
Build and maintain Java/Selenium automation frameworks for banking and payments apps, validate digital channels, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Lead / Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Selenium to support Digital Channels and Payments testing initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for enterprise-scale applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Automation Development
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Build reusable automation frameworks and libraries.
- Execute automation test suites and generate execution reports.
- Quality Engineering
- Develop automation strategies for web and mobile applications.
- Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
- CI/CD & Agile
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities.
- Support continuous testing initiatives.
- Payments & Digital Channels Testing
- Validate Digital Banking and Online Banking applications.
- Test payment workflows including:
- Fund Transfers
- Bill Payments
- FPX/UPI/NEFT/RTGS/SWIFT type payment flows
- Merchant Payments
- Transaction Processing
Required Skills
- Mandatory
- 5+ years of software testing experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java.
- Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver.
- TestNG/JUnit.
- Maven/Gradle.
- API Testing (Postman/Rest Assured).
- SQL Database Testing.
- Git version control.
- Preferred
- Jenkins/Azure DevOps.
- Mobile Automation (Appium).
- BDD framework (Cucumber).
- Banking and Payments domain experience.
- Performance testing exposure.
- Nice to Have
- Cloud testing exposure.
- Microservices testing.
- Accessibility testing.
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
