Information Technology Manager

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Information Technology Manger to lead our technology operations and digital transformation initiatives. Reporting to the CFO this key role will be responsible for ensuring our systems, infrastructure and technology investments deliver operational excellence, innovation and business value.
As a hands-on leader, you will lead the IT function, champion continuous improvement across technology platforms and business processes, and play an active role in delivering projects, solving complex technical challenges, and driving innovation throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of the IT function, including enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems integration and user support.
Drive digital transformation initiatives that improve manufacturing efficiency, supply chain visibility, inventory management, quality systems and customer service outcomes.
Oversee the optimisation, enhancement, and governance of our ERP and related business systems.
Manage and optimise EDI capabilities to ensure seamless integration with customers, retailers, distributors, logistics providers and external business partners.
Lead technology projects from concept through implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned to business priorities.
Establish robust technology governance, security, compliance, business continuity and risk management frameworks.
Partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities where technology can improve productivity, reduce costs, enhance customer experience and support growth.
Develop technology roadmaps that support operational excellence, automation and data-driven decision making.
Manage technology vendors, implementation partners and service providers to maximise value and service performance.
Lead change management activities to drive stakeholder engagement and successful adoption of new systems and processes.
Build, mentor and develop a collaborative, high-performing IT team that fosters innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
About You
You are a commercially focused technology leader who understands the demands of a manufacturing and FMCG environment. You have successfully used technology to improve operational performance, support business growth and deliver transformational change.
Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience leading an IT function within FMCG, manufacturing or similar operationally complex environments.
Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable commercial and operational improvements through strategic technology initiatives, system optimisation, and digital transformation
Proven experience leading ERP transformation, systems integration and business improvement programs.
Strong track record leveraging Microsoft technologies and platforms to enhance business performance, support organisational growth, and drive operational efficiency.
Comprehensive understanding of enterprise architecture, applications and infrastructure design, cybersecurity, data governance, and business continuity principles.
Proven experience managing and optimising EDI platforms and integrations, including retailer, customer, supplier and logistics partner connections.
Experience supporting manufacturing operations including production planning, inventory management, quality control and supply chain processes.
Demonstrated success leading change management initiatives and driving user adoption within complex and evolving operational environments.
A collaborative and commercially focused leadership style, with the ability to align technology strategy with broader business objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
