Information Technology Project Manager

Requirements

• Manage multiple IT and digital transformation projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
  
• Develop project plans, define milestones, establish deliverables, and coordinate resources across technical and business functions.
  
• Work closely with software development, IT infrastructure, operations, and analytics teams to deliver technology solutions aligned with business requirements.
  
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and dependencies, and implement appropriate corrective measures.
  
• Apply suitable project management approaches, including Agile and Waterfall, depending on project requirements.
  
• Collaborate with technical teams on solution design, implementation planning, testing, and deployment.
  
• Engage with senior management and international stakeholders to communicate project updates, address challenges, and manage expectations.
  
• Coordinate external technology vendors, monitor performance, and ensure effective delivery against contractual and project commitments.
  
• Promote project management best practices, strengthen governance, and support continuous improvement across the IT function.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  
• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT project management, with a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex technology initiatives.
  
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including project schedules, budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
  
• Sound technical understanding of IT infrastructure, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software engineering principles, and enterprise technology environments.
  
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams and managing third-party IT service providers or technology vendors.
  
• Strong analytical capabilities, structured problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate competing priorities.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with senior leadership and geographically distributed teams.
  
• A proactive, collaborative, and delivery-oriented approach with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic business environment.
  
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred.
  
• Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 is preferred.
  
• Experience delivering IT projects within shipping, maritime, logistics, transportation, or other regulated, operationally complex industries is nice to have.
