Information Technology Project Manager
This position is located in the Program Executive Director Front Office, Schedule and Risks within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Electronic Health Records Modernization Integration Office, (EHRM-IO) within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA) where the position serves as IT Project Manager and supports senior management with adherence to required and appropriate development processes, and change and configuration management processes.
Consist of and are not limited to the following duties of Information Technology Project Manager within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Healthcare Administration Electronic Health Records Modernization Integration Office, (EHRM-IO). The incumbent manages, develops, coordinates, assesses, evaluates and monitors development schedules for applications assigned to Schedule and Risks. Supports senior management with efforts to ensure adherence to required and appropriate development processes, change and configuration management processes within electronic healthcare records management. Presents authoritative technical advice to management on the application of business or clinical process modeling, business or clinical object modeling and business or clinical task design activities Creates and maintains documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes and service records Participates in the creation of and reviews of technical documentation such as data migration plans, schedules, and user and technical manuals Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Compressed/Flexible Schedule: May be available with supervisor approval. Some physical effort is required in that the incumbent lifts and carries reference books, working papers and similar items to and from meetings. A moderate amount of standing and walking is required in getting to and from meeting places away from the work site. The work does not require any special physical effort.
