INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (APPSW/DATAMGT)

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Information Technology Specialist responsible for planning, developing, integrating, and sustaining websites, software applications, databases, and archival systems that support Air Force and Space Force missions.

Develops, maintains, and enhances websites and applications to ensure effective communication, secure access, and compliance with DoD/DAF standards. Designs, manages, and optimizes relational databases and digital archival systems to safeguard, catalog, and retrieve electronic and paper records. Analyzes and integrates applications, databases, and archival systems to meet mission requirements, improve efficiency, and ensure interoperability. Researches, evaluates, and implements emerging technologies to modernize archival IT systems and improve mission effectiveness. Tests, troubleshoots, and secures applications, databases, and archival systems to ensure reliability, compliance, and mission readiness.
