INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)

The primary purpose of this position is: To provide management oversight of Cyber Security policy and guidance for Eielson AFB (EAFB) and associated units. Perform as a supervisor providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to 354 CS/SCXS.

Manages the Information Assurance programs. Manages Communications Security (COMSEC) program area and cryptographic activities including the Cryptographic Access Program (CAP). Performs supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Manages Network Security Program. Manages the COMSEC Account Manager (CAM) and Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Management Client (MGC) Node. Manages, audits, and inventories COMSEC users' Accounting Legend Codes and COMSEC material holdings at required intervals and the Secure Voice and Secure Data Program.
