Information Technology Specialist (Network)

About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) Headquarters ACOFS G-3/5 IT Mission Support IT Systems Management in Fort Huachuca, AZ.

Serve as a Senior Staff Information Technology Management Specialist.

Responsible for Command, Control, Computer, Communication, Information Technology (C4/IT) and cyber support project planning.

Conduct staff oversight of project execution for Army wide major and/or technologically advanced information systems in the Automated Information Systems (AISs) arena.

Ensure successful transition of system to operational phase and initiate required actions to transfer staff oversight responsibility to the G3/5/7 OPS.

Serve as technical expert and recognized authority on assigned projects to include requirements, system architecture, programmed resources, budgeted resources, and current implementation status.

Provide planning, technical management, force structure, force integration, and technical support for the implementation, sustainment, and integration of C4/IT cyber systems and EAC cyber forces in support of the warfighter.
