INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN)
Summary
Maintains and documents IT systems for a U.S. military fleet, including backups, upgrades, and user procedures in a government environment.
You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN) ofPEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. You will write and maintain computer operator instructions program maintenance manuals or other similar documentation.
You will validate documentation with other personnel and make modifications as needed.
You will prepare procedures, instructions and documentation for use by other departmental personnel.
You will serve on a project team responsible for system implementation and upgrades.
You will provide systems administration methods and procedures; and performance monitoring methods to schedule, monitor, and verify the integrity of system backups and restore files as necessary.
You will provide Information Technology concepts, principles, methods and practices and a wide range of IT techniques, requirements, and procedures to analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations on projects.
