INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION)

The primary purpose of this position is: IT Specialist Aircraft Systems, Fuels and Telecommunications Training Systems; and squadron systems administrator with responsibility for planning and coordinating the installation, testing, modifying, upgrading, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems to support training and development.

Performs services as a systems administrator. Evaluates computer-based technologies and their effect on the operational aircraft, telecommunications, vehicle maintenance and fuels training environment. Develops and documents systems administration standard operating procedures and provides guidance to leadership. Provides system administration, technical assistance, systems advisory service, and training. Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, programs, modifies, test, and maintains voice/data/VoIP and digital switching systems network equipment.
