InfraSec Engineer (Infrastructure Security Engineer)
Summary
Infrastructure security engineer who administers and hardens the company's IT estate — Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, virtualization, backup, and networking — while implementing security controls, remediating gaps, and producing evidence for ISO/IEC 27001 compliance.
Salary: ₱60,000 – ₱70,000 per month
About the role
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support the operation, security, and continuous improvement of the company's IT infrastructure, with a particular focus on supporting the organization's ISO/IEC 27001 certification initiative. This role will work closely with Information Security, IT Operations, application teams, and other stakeholders to implement infrastructure-related security controls, remediate identified gaps, maintain technical documentation, and provide evidence required to demonstrate compliance with ISO 27001 requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and support enterprise Windows Server and related infrastructure
- Support Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and authentication services
- Support Microsoft 365 infrastructure and associated identity and access controls
- Support virtualization platforms, server infrastructure, storage, backup, and recovery systems
- Assist with network infrastructure, firewalls, VPN, segmentation, and secure connectivity
- Partner with Information Security to implement infrastructure-related controls required by ISO 27001
- Implement and maintain appropriate access controls across infrastructure systems
- Develop and maintain secure configuration standards for servers, endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and supporting platforms
- Support operating-system and infrastructure vulnerability remediation and coordinate patch deployment
- Ensure critical infrastructure systems generate appropriate security and operational logs
About you
- 5+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure engineering or systems administration experience
- Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365
- Experience supporting enterprise virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Experience with enterprise backup and disaster-recovery technologies
- Working knowledge of enterprise networking, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, routing, and network segmentation
- Experience with server patching, vulnerability remediation, and system-hardening activities
- Strong PowerShell or other infrastructure automation skills
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Experience working within formal change-management processes
