Infrastructure & Capital Projects-Director, ANS
THE WORK:

You'll lead project controls delivery for complex pharmaceutical and biotechnology capital programs, driving governance, strategy, and performance across cost, schedule, risk, change, and reporting functions.

You'll build, develop, and mentor high-performing project controls teams, including cost managers, estimators, schedulers, risk specialists, change managers, and reporting analysts.

You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients and project leadership, transforming project data into executive-level insights, recommendations, and decision support.

You'll establish and maintain integrated project controls frameworks, standards, procedures, KPIs, reporting cycles, baselines, and assurance processes.

You'll oversee project financial performance, including estimating, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, contingency management, cost reporting, and estimate-at-completion projections.

You'll lead integrated schedule management across the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment, critical path visibility, schedule integrity, and risk-informed planning.

You'll direct risk, opportunity, and change management processes, ensuring impacts are evaluated, governed, mitigated, and communicated effectively.

You'll provide proactive performance management through forecasting, variance analysis, earned value management, executive dashboards, and governance reporting.

You'll partner with project, engineering, construction, commercial, finance, quality, manufacturing, and operations teams to improve project integration and delivery outcomes.

You'll support business growth and capability development through client relationship management, proposals, recruitment, training, continuous improvement initiatives, and project controls best practices
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Finance, Business, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred
- Minimum 15 years of progressive capital-project experience, with deep expertise in project controls for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated success leading the project controls function on large, complex, multi-contractor projects or programs, preferably including investments valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars or more
- At least 7 years of experience directly leading project controls professionals and multidisciplinary teams, including resource planning, coaching, performance management, and quality assurance
- Expert knowledge of cost management, estimating, planning and scheduling, progress measurement, forecasting, earned value, risk analysis, change control, contingency management, and executive reporting
- Strong experience developing and assuring integrated master schedules, cost breakdown structures, work breakdown structures, control accounts, baselines, cash flows, trends, and estimate-at-completion forecasts
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex project information, identify emerging issues, challenge assumptions, and present clear recommendations to senior internal and client stakeholders
- Working knowledge of the full capital-project lifecycle, including front-end planning, stage-gate approvals, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, qualification, start-up, and handover
- Experience working with EPCM, engineering, construction, equipment, and specialty service providers and enforcing project controls and reporting requirements
- Working knowledge of GMP, validation, EHS, quality, and regulatory expectations applicable to life sciences facilities and capital delivery
- Proficiency with relevant project controls systems and tools, such as Primavera P6, cost-management platforms, risk-analysis tools, reporting and visualization solutions, and enterprise data environments

- Strong leadership, client relationship, facilitation, negotiation, decision-making, and issue-resolution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convert project data into concise executive narratives and recommendations
- Professional credentials such as PMP, AACE CCP or PSP, PE, CCM, or an equivalent industry certification are preferred.
- Ability to travel to client and project sites as required
