Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Inspector II, ANS
THE WORK:
- You'll provide daily site inspection reports to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications and codes.
- You'll coordinate in the field with clients/owners, consultants, contractors, designers and regulatory agencies.
- You'll monitor and documents contractor resource utilization (labor, materials and equipment) for field changes, and time and material work and assist with negotiation of basic field construction changes.
- You'll regularly attend and participate in construction meetings, safety meetings/updates and project site coordination meetings.
- You'll verify equipment and materials installation.
- You'll measure and record pay quantities.
- You'll review the contractor's schedule.
- You'll coordinate 3rd-party special material testing inspections.
- You'll review and provide input on potential change order issues.
- You'll maintain project records including safety documentation.
- You'll manage project photographic records.
- You'll conduct verification of field surveys.
- You'll maintain a daily report of all work site activities.
- You'll perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience
- In lieu of a degree, the candidate must have at least 5 years of construction-related experience
- Compliance with company vehicle policy is required or be willing to travel to various project areas as needed
- Possess solid negotiation and interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to problems, along with a high level of math aptitude
- Ability to multi-task several priorities and possess solid time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
