Infrastructure & Capital Projects- Senior Test Commissioning Manager, ANS
THE WORK:
- You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising commissioning and testing activities for electrical substations, ensuring compliance with technical standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
- You'll lead multidisciplinary teams during commissioning, providing technical guidance, and resolving on-site issues.
- You'll review, validate, and document test procedures and results to ensure alignment with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
- You'll collaborate closely with contractors, design engineers, operations teams, and clients to support successful project execution.
- You'll maintain project timelines, budgets, and safety standards throughout all phases of testing and commissioning.
- Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Must have a BS/BA degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET (or Owner approved equivalent) accredited college/university, and 10 years’ experience in the following areas: Construction, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment, Relay protection and control systems, Start-up and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems, Electrical Field engineering, Arc Flash safety training, Troubleshooting of electrical equipment or systems
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
- SCADA and communication systems Specialized advanced training (e.g., PTI. WPI, ECNE PUI, a graduate level engineering degree).
- Professional experience in commissioning and testing of electrical substations, including supervision of construction, commissioning, and energization activities
- Professional knowledge of electrical systems, protection & control, and substation equipment
- Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in the field
- Professional experience with problem-solving and decision-making under project deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Willingness to travel and work on-site across New York State
