Infrastructure Data Engineer
You will lead infrastructure migration initiatives and build, maintain, deploy, and manage applications using infrastructure as code. You will improve large-scale data pipelines, establish infrastructure and data engineering best practices, enable developer self-service, reduce latency, mature local stack testing tools, and strengthen reliability and security through testing and contained attacks.
Responsibilities
- Migrate services from legacy infrastructure to the new infrastructure
- Build maintain deploy and manage applications and services using infrastructure as code
- Improve and optimize large-scale data pipelines
- Lead infrastructure and data engineering best practices
- Enable developers to self-serve infrastructure deployment monitoring and alerting
- Improve data pipeline performance for unique business needs
- Help engineers use the data pipeline effectively
- Mature local stack testing and validation tools
- Reduce latency for critical path applications
- Improve system reliability and security through testing and contained attacks
Requirements
- Senior-level infrastructure and data engineering experience
- Knowledge of core infrastructure fundamentals including security networking and access control
- Strong Kubernetes experience and knowledge of Kubernetes best practices
- Hands-on experience with Terraform ArgoCD GitHub Actions Docker Prometheus and Grafana
- Strong advocacy for infrastructure as code
- Experience with dbt or SQLMesh
- Experience with Airflow Dagster or Prefect
- Experience with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse
- Strong understanding of modern data pipelines and best practices
