Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer
Summary
Manages on-premise and hybrid infrastructure—servers, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and networking—for enterprise application deployments and operations.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Associate’s Degree holders are welcome).
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, System Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
- Required Skills:
- Good understanding of Linux and Windows Server operating system administration
- Experience in managing virtualization environments such as VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, Nutanix, or similar technologies
- Experience in implementing and managing containers using Docker
- Experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines
- Experience using Git-based repositories such as GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket
- Understand web server and reverse proxy configuration such as Nginx, Apache, or IIS
- Understand computer networking concepts including DNS, Firewall, VPN, Load Balancer, SSL/TLS, and Routing
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Server database administration, including database backup and restore
- Strong infrastructure analysis and troubleshooting skillsAdditional Skills (preferable):
- Experience supporting the implementation of Finance & Accounting systems, ERP, HRIS, Inventory Management, or other enterprise applications
- Experience in designing and implementing High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery Center (DRC)
- Understand infrastructure security concepts and server hardening
- Experience in hybrid environments (On-Premise and Cloud)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and configure Development, SIT, UAT, Production, and DRC environments. Install, configure, and optimize application and database servers.
- Assist in the application deployment process and release management.
- Build and manage CI/CD Pipelines for application development and implementation needs.
- Prepare backup, restore, and disaster recovery mechanisms.
- Prepare connectivity and integration requirements between applications.
- Configure SSL Certificates, DNS, and Firewalls according to system requirements.
- Implement monitoring and logging for application operational needs.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Prepare technical documentation regarding infrastructure configuration and implementation.
- Conduct knowledge transfer to the internal team.
