Infrastructure Engineer
Summary
Design, deploy, and support secure infrastructure for Defence programmes using VMware, Hyper-V, Windows/Linux servers, and networking hardware in a hybrid role.
Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements:- Active SC or DV clearance required
- Experience with hardware and infrastructure engineering in Defence, Government or secure environments
- Experience with enterprise server, storage and networking technologies
- Experience with VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, or other virtualisation platforms
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with networking, firewalls, and infrastructure troubleshooting
- Experience with hardware deployment, lifecycle management, and vendor engagement
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work within Agile delivery teams
- Design, deploy, and support hardware and infrastructure solutions
- Build and maintain physical servers, storage, and networking equipment
- Manage virtualised environments
- Administer Windows Server and Linux environments
- Configure LAN, WAN, VLANs, and firewall technologies
- Support hardware deployments, testing, and live operational activities
- Manage hardware lifecycle activities, upgrades, and asset management
- Produce technical documentation and work closely with customers and project teams

This is a Hardware Engineer role based in Hampshire with a hybrid working pattern of 2-3 days onsite, offering up to £80,000 per annum.
