Infrastructure Engineer

Summary

Build and optimize ultra-low-latency network infrastructure for global trading systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and automate network management using Linux and scripting.

You will implement and optimize network infrastructure for low-latency trading applications across global data centers. You will troubleshoot complex network issues, use monitoring and automation to improve infrastructure efficiency, support high-performance wired and wireless networks, communicate operational impact, and document processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and optimize network infrastructure for low-latency trading applications
  • Identify technical challenges and troubleshoot issues
  • Diagnose and solve complex network infrastructure issues using data
  • Use monitoring tools to resolve network issues
  • Communicate network issue impacts to business stakeholders
  • Support and troubleshoot high-performance wired and wireless networks
  • Automate network management and maintenance processes
  • Document processes and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on networking experience
  • CCNP certification or equivalent
  • Advanced IP networking and TCP/IP knowledge
  • Advanced switching, routing, BGP, and multicast knowledge
  • Linux administration and scripting knowledge
  • Written and verbal communication
  • Technical troubleshooting
  • Decision-making
