Position: Infrastructure Engineer (Kubernetes)
Location: Hybrid 3-4x per week onsite in Jersey City, NJ - 95 Christopher Columbus Dr. 1 Pershing Plaza Jersey City, New Jersey 07302
Duration: 12+ months
We’re seeking 2 resources to assist with building out a new Kubernetes environment for a special project. The resources will join our Technology Services Group (TSG) via our PRODUCTION SERVICES DEVOPS team.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
• Responsible for building Kubernetes clusters
• Responsible for onboarding, troubleshooting and resolving application issues
• Maintain Platform hygiene
• Setup Monitor/action platform alerts
Required Skills/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school
• 10+ years of experience
• 6+ years of experience with Linux
• 5+ years of Kubernetes experience (preferrable RedHat OpenShift)
• 5+ years of experience deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications
• 5+ years of experience with a container runtime (Docker, RunC, CRI-O)
• 5+ years of experience with a monitoring/logging tool (Prometheus, Grafana, Sysdig, Splunk)
• 5+ years of experience with scripting (Python, Shell)
• 3+ years of experience with Azure AKS
Preferred Skills/Experience
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
• Cloud technologies is a big plus
