Infrastructure Engineer (L2/L3) – Wintel, VMware & Cloud

Salary: ₱80,000 – ₱100,000 per month

About the role

We are looking for an experienced L2/L3 Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and provide advanced infrastructure support across multiple client environments. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Windows Server administration, virtualization, enterprise storage, and hybrid cloud technologies. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex infrastructure incidents, maintaining server environments, supporting virtualization platforms, and ensuring the stability, availability, and security of client IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), DNS, DHCP, DFS, and file and print services.

• Manage and support VMware vSphere/ESXi and/or Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization environments.

• Perform server administration, monitoring, patching, maintenance, and performance troubleshooting.

• Support SAN and enterprise storage environments, including iSCSI, Fibre Channel, Dell EMC, HPE, and NetApp technologies.

• Troubleshoot physical server hardware, including Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, and blade servers using iDRAC/iLO management tools.

• Perform infrastructure troubleshooting involving VLANs, subnetting, DNS, and basic firewall configurations.

• Support Microsoft Azure and/or AWS infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and backup services.

• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks.

• Manage infrastructure incidents in accordance with ITIL processes, ensuring accurate ticket documentation, timely resolution, and appropriate escalation.

• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to maintain service quality and meet client service-level agreements (SLAs).

About you

• Proven experience in an MSP or managed services environment, supporting multiple client environments simultaneously.

• Strong hands-on experience in Windows Server administration, including AD DS, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and file/print services.

• Practical experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.

• Experience with SAN and enterprise storage technologies, such as iSCSI, Fibre Channel, Dell EMC, HPE, or NetApp.

• Experience supporting physical servers, including Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, blade servers, iDRAC, and/or iLO.

• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLANs, subnetting, DNS, and basic firewall troubleshooting.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS infrastructure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and backups.

• Hands-on PowerShell scripting experience for administration and automation.

• Experience handling infrastructure incidents in an ITIL-based service management environment.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

• Amenable to work onsite (BGC, Taguig City, Nightshift)
