Infrastructure Engineer
Summary
The Infrastructure Engineer will design, maintain, and automate scalable cloud infrastructure for decentralized nodes and support node operators. The role focuses on CI/CD, observability, and security using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and various cloud platforms.
You will design and maintain scalable infrastructure for decentralized nodes, onboard and support external node operators, optimize cloud systems, and implement CI/CD pipelines. You will monitor performance and security, develop automation and observability systems, and collaborate on infrastructure that supports decentralized applications.
Responsibilities
- Architect and manage scalable infrastructure for decentralized nodes
- Interface with external node operators during onboarding and upgrades
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for availability resilience and security
- Implement CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor infrastructure performance and security
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues
- Develop automation scripts for provisioning scaling and monitoring
- Design and manage observability systems for data processing and analytics
Requirements
- Experience with AWS GCP or Azure
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of infrastructure as code and Terraform or ArgoCD
- Experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of networking security and cloud systems architecture
- Familiarity with Prometheus Datadog Kibana Logstash or Grafana
- Ability to resolve complex infrastructure issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Blockchain infrastructure experience is preferred
- Knowledge of decentralized storage such as IPFS or Arweave is preferred
- Experience with blockchain data analytics tools such as Dune is preferred
