As an experienced Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide high-level technical leadership, operational support, and strategic advice to ensure the organisations ICT infrastructure is secure, resilient, highly available, and aligned with business needs.
Working within a complex enterprise environment, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing critical infrastructure while ensuring operational excellence, cyber security, and continuous improvement. You will also provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support, collaborate with vendors, and contribute to infrastructure planning and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver, maintain, and optimize secure, highly available, and resilient ICT infrastructure across hybrid environments.
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support, resolve complex infrastructure issues, and manage vendor relationships to ensure service continuity.
Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, availability, and security, responding proactively to incidents and implementing preventative improvements.
Develop, implement, and maintain infrastructure standards, governance, and best practices to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and cyber security.
Provide technical leadership, strategic advice, and continuous improvement initiatives to support current and future business technology requirements.
Key Skills
Extensive experience implementing and supporting enterprise ICT infrastructure, including hybrid cloud, servers, networking, virtualization, and cyber security technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in operational environments.
Demonstrated knowledge of ICT infrastructure, operational technology, cyber security, ITIL practices, and emerging technologies.
Excellent stakeholder communication, vendor management, and customer service skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
Relevant tertiary IT qualification (or equivalent), ITIL Foundation certification, and a current NSW Driver Licence.
