Infrastructure Operations Engineer
We are looking for an Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our team and ensure the stability, scalability, and security of mission-critical payment platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments, administering systems, and driving continuous improvement through automation and collaboration.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain hybrid infrastructure supporting multiple platforms
Administer and troubleshoot Linux (primarily) and Windows systems across cloud and on-premises environments
Manage system patching, upgrades, lifecycle management, and monitoring
Ensure stability, scalability, and compliance of mission-critical payment platforms
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, and documentation practices
Collaborate with Platform Engineering to test and adopt new technologies
Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support of critical systems
Requirements
Strong background in Linux administration (Windows knowledge is a plus)
Hands-on experience supporting production infrastructure in AWS or GCP
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with patching, lifecycle management, and monitoring tools
Polish and English, fluent working proficiency
Nice to Have
Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins)
Experience in regulated or PCI-compliant environments
Understanding of ITIL processes and service management
