Job Summary

We are looking for an analytical and stakeholder-oriented professional to support policy development and operational planning for international digital connectivity infrastructure. This role focuses on submarine cable policy, licensing, resource planning, and cross-agency collaboration to strengthen digital connectivity and support reliable international infrastructure.

Mandatory Skill-set

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Public Policy, Engineering, Business, or related field;
  • Relevant experience in policy, operations, or project management. Candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills;
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills;
  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination abilities;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skill-set

  • Experience in the infocomm, telecommunications, infrastructure, or public sector;
  • Knowledge of regulatory policies, licensing, or governance frameworks;
  • Interest in digital infrastructure, international connectivity, or policy development.

Responsibilities

  • Support the review and implementation of policies relating to submarine cable infrastructure and international connectivity;
  • Coordinate resource planning and allocation to facilitate submarine cable deployment and operations;
  • Evaluate submarine cable licence applications and support licensing processes;
  • Collaborate with internal teams, public sector agencies, and industry stakeholders to facilitate cable landing, deployment, maintenance, and repair;
  • Conduct research on international developments and regulatory trends relating to submarine cable policies;
  • Develop policy recommendations and operational improvements to to strengthen international digital connectivity and infrastructure planning;
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and stakeholder engagement materials to support policy implementation and decision-making.
