Summary

The Infrastructure Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects within a complex enterprise environment, managing project plans, budgets, and cross-functional team dependencies. This is a 12-month contract role requiring experience in infrastructure migration, cutover, and stakeholder reporting.

Salary: up to $124/hr plus GST

Infrastructure Project Manager | Contract (12-Month)| Auckland (Hybrid)

We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join a significant programme of work within a large and complex enterprise environment on an initial 12-month contract.

About the role
You’ll take ownership of infrastructure-focused projects and workstreams within a large technology programme, working across technical, operational and vendor teams.

Operating in a highly integrated environment, you’ll be responsible for driving delivery, managing dependencies and ensuring infrastructure changes are well planned, governed and implemented with minimal disruption to critical services. You’ll be responsible for:
  • Leading end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects and workstreams within a complex programme environment.
  • Developing and managing project plans, milestones, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies. Coordinating infrastructure changes across platforms, environments and supporting technology services.
  • Working closely with infrastructure, applications, integration, architecture and operational teams.
  • Navigating dependencies across multiple interconnected systems and technology workstreams.
  • Managing implementation, cutover and transition into operational support.
  • Providing clear project reporting and updates to programme leadership and key stakeholders. Ensuring delivery aligns with programme governance, security, operational and technical requirements.
About you
You’ll be an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager who is comfortable delivering within large, complex and highly integrated technology environments. You’ll bring:
  • Strong experience delivering infrastructure-focused technology projects.
  • Proven end-to-end project management experience within complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience working across infrastructure, applications, integrations and operational technology teams.
  • Experience managing implementation, migration, cutover and transition activities.
  • Confidence working across multiple concurrent workstreams and competing priorities.
  • Strong governance, risk, issue, financial and project reporting experience.
