The Job

JOB PURPOSES

• Responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, and security of enterprise IT infrastructure across Linux/Windows systems, network security, monitoring, and security compliance.
• Apply automation and AI-assisted engineering tools to improve troubleshooting and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Security, Telecommunications, or related fields.
• Deploy, operate, monitor, patch, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers and infrastructure services.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPN, routing, NAT, network connectivity, and security policies.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, and security events.
• Troubleshoot system and network incidents and support root cause analysis.
• Support system hardening, vulnerability remediation, patching, and security improvements.
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity and access management.
• Participate in security incident response, compliance reviews, and remediation activities.
• Support automation of operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure tools.
• Maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, SOPs, and implementation documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, auditors, and project stakeholders.

Your Skills and Experience

Infrastructure & Operating Systems

• Hands-on experience with Linux administration such as Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, Rocky Linux, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

Network & Security

• Hands-on experience with at least one firewall platform such as Sophos Firewall, FortiGate, pfSense, OPNsense, or equivalent.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, Switching, VPN, NAT, DNS, and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with firewall policies, network segmentation, system hardening, and access control.
• Basic understanding of security principles and least-privilege access.

Monitoring & Security Operations

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as PRTG, WhatsUp Gold, Zabbix, Grafana, or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of security monitoring, log analysis, SIEM, or SOC operations is an advantage.

Preferred / Nice to Have

Experience in one or more of the following areas is an advantage:

• Virtualization, storage, backup, DR, or HA.
• Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
• Oracle/MySQL administration.
• IAM, MFA, SSO, RBAC, or Zero Trust.
• Docker, Kubernetes, or container security.
• ISO/IEC 27001, PCI-DSS, vulnerability management, or security auditing.
• AI-assisted engineering tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, Hermes, or similar platforms.
• Relevant infrastructure, networking, Linux, Microsoft, or cybersecurity certifications.

Candidates do not need to meet every preferred requirement. We value strong fundamentals, hands-on experience, troubleshooting ability, and willingness to learn.
