The Company:

Our Client is a leading communications technology enterprise. They are expanding the team and are looking for a Infrastructure Support Analyst.

The Role:

  • 24 x 7 Operations for pro-active monitoring on infrastructure.
  • Provide 1st level troubleshooting on all reported incidents or system triggered alerts and escalation to level 2 resolver groups as per work instructions.
  • Track and provide timely updates to customers on status of outstanding issues within target service level.
  • End-to-end ownership of incidents and follow-up on reported issues till closure. Ensure accurate and complete information has been captured in the ticketing system.
  • Handle initial classification/prioritization of incidents. Track the progress of resolution and provide regular updates for follow-up actions and incident status.
  • Execute Scheduled tasks (E.g ITOps, Deployment).
  • Execute planned schedule deployment.
  • Provide feedback on deployment.
  • Device Lifecycle management.

Requirements

  • Tertiary education: (Bachelor’s degree / Polytechnic Diploma) in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information System.
  • At least 1 year working experience in IT Infrastructure Operation and/or Support (LAN/WAN/Systems/Cloud).
  • Sound fundamental knowledge on IP networking (e.g. TCP/IP, routing, etc.) and operation systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, etc.).
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and a passion for information security.
  • Fluent communicator in both written and spoken English; Good interpersonal skills.
  • Okay to perform shift work: 4 days per week, 44 hours per week, 0800hrs – 2000hrs, 2000hrs – 0800hrs
