Infrastructure Support Engineer

The resource will be responsible for:

• Coordinating server access and port-opening requirements for developers and applications.
• Coordinating software/tool installation and configuration on development/application servers.
• Managing server induction and environment readiness activities.
• Coordinating with Security, Network, Proxy, Server, Development and other infrastructure teams for various requirements.
• Raising, tracking and following up on infrastructure/service requests until closure.
• Coordinating firewall rules, network connectivity, proxy access and application-to-server connectivity requirements.
• Supporting application teams during deployment, testing and troubleshooting of server-related issues.
• Maintaining coordination and documentation of server/infrastructure activities and dependencies.

Experience & Skill Requirements:

• 46 years of experience in Server Administration / Infrastructure Support / Infrastructure Coordination.
• Good understanding of Windows/Linux servers, networking, ports, firewall and server connectivity.
• Experience in coordinating with multiple teams such as Network, Security, Proxy, Server/Infrastructure and Development teams.
• Exposure to software installation, server configuration, access management and environment setup.
• Good understanding of IT service/request management processes and ticketing tools.
• Strong coordination, communication, follow-up and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to independently drive infrastructure requirements from request initiation to closure.
