Salary: 100-130k THB

We are looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to keep our client's IT environment stable, secure, and running smoothly. You will be the hands-on link between end users, Helpdesk, Data Center, and Network teams — supporting day-to-day operations, resolving incidents, and helping deliver infrastructure improvements and projects.

What you will do

End-user support
Provide on-site and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Handle advanced troubleshooting, incident resolution, and escalations to Helpdesk and Global IS. Act as the main point of contact between users and IS for requests, incidents, and service delivery.

System administration
Carry out routine Windows Server maintenance, health checks, and log monitoring. Manage patching (including WSUS) so systems stay secure and current. Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software. Keep the IT asset inventory accurate and compliant. Support Helpdesk, network operations, and data-centre activities, and contribute to infrastructure projects as needed.

Network and security
Apply solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing). Install and maintain switches, wireless APs, controllers, routers, and firewalls. Troubleshoot LAN and Wi-Fi issues. Support structured cabling, labelling, and layout standards. Document topology, cabling, and inventory. Monitor performance, capacity, and availability. Support endpoint protection (e.g. CrowdStrike), LAN security, BYOD, guest access, and remote access. Help implement security controls and compliance requirements. Work with carriers and vendors on circuits and escalations. Support tools such as Cloudflare, Endpoint Central, and future solutions (e.g. NAC).

Virtualization (preferred)
Support Microsoft Hyper-V: provision, start/stop, and monitor VMs; track CPU, memory, and disk use; and assist with VM lifecycle (provisioning, scaling, decommissioning).

Backup and recovery
Run and monitor daily backups (e.g. Arcserve UDP), report job status, restore files or folders on request, and take part in periodic restore tests to confirm disaster-recovery readiness.

Operations and projects
Support daily IT operations in office and production environments. Join infrastructure and technology projects and work with other teams to keep systems running smoothly.

Documentation and training
Write and maintain manuals, user guides, and operating procedures. Deliver user training on IT best practices.

Linux and database (optional / preferred)
Administer Linux servers (e.g. RHEL, Oracle Linux): filesystems, permissions, and package updates (YUM/DNF). Monitor and troubleshoot basic MySQL availability and performance. Write simple Bash or Python scripts for health checks, log management, and routine tasks.

Mobility
Support multiple sites, including travel to Singapore when required.

What we are looking for

  • Degree in Information Systems, IT, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years in IT support and infrastructure operations
  • At least 2 years hands-on LAN / network infrastructure experience
  • Strong written and spoken English

Technical skills
Strong: PC hardware, Windows 10+, Microsoft Office
Working knowledge: Windows Server 2019+, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, basic networking and troubleshooting (e.g. Cisco), IT security and endpoint tools (e.g. Fortinet, antivirus)

Preferred certifications
RHCSA, RHCE, MCSA, Azure, or AWS

How you work
Clear communicator, self-motivated, willing to learn new technologies, proactive problem-solver with a mindset for improving service.
