Infrastructure Network Engineer II

Job Purpose

Planning, designing, and deploying server related infrastructure. Troubleshooting, installing and administering all server components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Performing support for current Microsoft technologies as well as older Microsoft server technologies.
• Assisting in updating and creating technical documentation
• Producing newly built environments that includes all tools and security hardening with detailed documentation to adhere to corporate standards
• Providing recommendations on how to improve process or environment
• Reporting security incidents.
• Participating in gathering server artifacts for audits
• Supporting projects after hours and as needed throughout the project lifecycle
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements (skills/experience)

• 10+ years of support for Windows environments (server and network). Including Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019 management experience
• Have solid experience with virtualized infrastructure, VMware ESXi 6.0 and above
• Have Cisco UCS support and installation experience
• Possess positive attitude in taking ownership of numerous tasks
• Possess excellent communications skills (interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written) as well as working with multiple technology teams to accomplish the task
