• Assists in addressing supplier nonconformities by containing suspect products and coordinating with external sorting companies

• Assist in preparing PPAP by reviewing drawings, preparing 100% dimensional layouts, time reports, and capacity studies

• Communicates significant issues or findings resulting from customer notifications

• Adheres to and performs activities as specified by the quality system (ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949).

• Practices and promotes respect for the product and 5S activities in the work area

• Adheres to defined timelines and deadlines

• Promotes and recommends continuous improvement activities within the quality department, product and process parameters, and procedural systems

• Constantly monitors COPQ incurred at the customer's plant

• Must be aware of quality issues encountered in the production and control areas that affect performance with the customer.

• Must report to Quality Management information regarding audit results, customer feedback, process performance and goal achievement, and the status of corrective and preventive actions

• Establishes and implements standard customer service guidelines. Promotes high levels of customer service throughout the organization, monitors performance using specialized tools or measurement systems, ensures training for service personnel, and takes prompt corrective action when necessary

• Obtains and reviews customer scorecards, analyzes performance, and works with the plant to improve areas with deficiencies.

• Analyzes the cost of quality at customer plants and works to reduce costs associated with poor quality. Addresses issues to help reduce COPQ in collaboration with the customer

• Participates in Advanced Product Quality Planning and promotes building quality into equipment and processes

• Audits corrective actions to verify that they are completed and assesses the effectiveness of the implemented countermeasures

• At the plant level, submit PPAPs for customer review and approval

• Maintains the corrective/preventive action system at the plant level, including tracking the status of open actions, reviewing responses, and working with other departments to close them out

• Completes and submits corrective action reports in the formats prescribed by the customer for review and approval

• Ensures that the team under their supervision fulfills their roles and responsibilities as defined in their job descriptions.

• If designated as an internal auditor, participate in conducting internal audits of the Environmental Management System in accordance with the established program and procedures.

• Carry out the activities and fulfill the responsibilities assigned by your direct supervisor

Requirements

• Advanced English
• 5 years of experience in a similar position, in the automotive industry.
• Experience in launching projects and dealing with clients.
• Customer portals, Knowledge of IATF 16949, Core Tools, Negotiation skills
