Job description

We are looking for an Innovation Specialist to be responsible for the management and execution of strategic open innovation initiatives and for strengthening the innovation culture within the organization.

This position will play a central role in coordinating two open innovation programs, connecting internal areas, startups, partners, and external stakeholders, in addition to structuring and driving actions that promote an innovation mindset, capabilities, and engagement across the entire company.

The professional should combine strategic vision, execution capability, stakeholder management, and experience in leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead the operation and evolution of two strategic open innovation programs;
  • Identify business challenges and translate them into opportunities for connection with startups, universities, hubs, and ecosystem partners;
  • Conduct scouting, selection, and evaluation processes for startups;
  • Coordinate pilots, proofs of concept (PoCs), and co-innovation initiatives with business areas;
  • Structure and track performance indicators for the programs;
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and governance;
  • Facilitate communication between internal areas, suppliers, and external partners.

Innovation Culture:

  • Develop and implement initiatives to strengthen the innovation culture;
  • Plan internal communication campaigns related to innovation with the Marketing team;
  • Organize events, workshops, training, and engagement experiences together with the Marketing team;
  • Act as a facilitator for innovation methodologies, Design Thinking, Lean Startup, and corporate innovation;
  • Monitor engagement and innovation maturity metrics.

Management and Governance:

  • Structure processes, rituals, and governance models for the programs;
  • Manage stakeholders at different organizational levels;
  • Prepare executive reports with analyses, recommendations, and results;
  • Support the definition of the company's innovation strategy.

Mandatory requirements:

  • Completed higher education degree;
  • Experience in corporate innovation, open innovation, digital transformation, strategy, or related areas;
  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary projects;
  • Knowledge of innovation methodologies such as Design Thinking, Lean Startup, and Agile;
  • Experience in relationships with startups and innovation ecosystems;
  • Ability to structure executive presentations and lead meetings with senior stakeholders;
  • Advanced English.

Desirable:

  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in innovation, business, strategy, or related areas;
  • Certifications in project management or agile methodologies;
  • Experience in innovation culture programs;
  • Knowledge of corporate innovation metrics and frameworks;
  • Experience in large corporate environments.
